Dear English Learner...

If you are learning English to increase opportunities and live a better life, you’ve come to the right place.
My name is Léandre Larouche. I live in Toronto, Canada, and I'm a professional writer in English. However, I used to be in a spot similar to you not very long ago.
I grew up in a small town where no one speaks English. Yet I wanted to move elsewhere in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Australia. I knew I need to master the English language.
One of the most frustrating parts of my journey was understanding English grammar. Grammar did not make sense, and no teacher was able to explain it to me in a way that made sense. Moreover, every teacher emphasized vocabulary, speaking, and accent... But they did not realize how important grammar is.
Because I struggled with grammar:
- I kept making embarrassing mistakes.
- I wasn't confident speaking and writing.
- I spoke and wrote like a translation machine.
However, I persevered and learned grammar on my own. By studying every source I came across, I gradually got better and I was able to study English literature and professional writing at an English-speaking university in Montreal, Canada. I was even hired as a writing tutor to help other students at my university!
However, it wasn't until I met Diana that I really understood how grammar works...
One afternoon, Diana walked into the office where I worked as a writing tutor. I asked what she needed help with, and she said, "my supervisor told me to come here because my writing is so bad, it's disrespectful to the reader."
Ouch, I thought. That lady isn’t playing around.
You see, Diana had come to Canada from Pakistan to study computer science. English isn’t her first language, and she’s not a writer. But she needed to complete her thesis to graduate.
Needless to say, she was struggling. That's when I discovered the breakthrough method I named The Architecture of Grammar.
I realized that English is super logical. Like, stupid-easy logical. It's just a series of blocks you put together.
If you understand which blocks go where and in which order, then the grammar problem is solved.
That's why I call the method the "Architecture of Grammar." It looks at grammar as a building, with blocks, which is what it is.
By the way, Diana quickly finished her Master's thesis, got her dream job at a billion-dollar Canadian company, and moved to Toronto, Canada.
